The USS Lexington

The mighty USS Lexington is one of the largest surviving ships of World War 2. It’s a gigantic aircraft carrier that launched in 1943 to serve the United States in battle, but it’s now been converted into a naval museum. There’s a large collection of aircraft to view, simulators, games, and even a 3D movie experience that puts you in the pilot’s seat. This is definitely not to be missed for any war history enthusiasts because you’ll even get to see what the crew quarters and bridge look like!

Big Bend National Park

This is one of the most popular natural attractions in Texas. The Big Bend National Park is made up of three different zones: the Rio Grande, the Chihuahuan Desert, and the Chisos Mountains. It’s a diverse park that is home to roughly 400 species of bird and 1,100 species of plant life. One of the best ways to experience the park is actually by boat. There are a variety of different river trips that will give you a scenic tour of the whole place.
