Change is Only as Hard as You Believe it Is

Do you know a woman whose life is unhappy and full of confusion? She knows her life isn’t what she wants it to be, but she’s stuck. She can’t seem to make the changes she says she wants to make. From the outside looking in, she’s busily seeking answers outside herself; through teachers, books, classes and seminars. She’s looking everywhere, except within.

I often hear women often saying, “It’s hard to change.” If you’re thinking and saying that, it will be hard to change. Unconsciously, that kind of thinking is setting yourself up for failure and providing the assurance, that you’ll never be able to have the life that you say you want.

There are plenty of bright and intelligent women in the world who are stuck. They’re trapped in a life that they claim they don’t want – yet they remain glued to it. They’re stuck in fear and doubt and resistance. Consciously, they think they have the answers. Unconsciously, they remain stuck because they’re in fear and don’t know what to do. Even though being miserable in your life can be uncomfortable and even painful—it also can feel safe and familiar.

Change means being ready, open and receptive. You have to be so willing to stop the denial and do whatever it takes. Do you think any kind of shift can happen if you’re saying it’s too hard to change?

It’s time ladies, to let go of whatever is holding you back and reach for what you desire. This means taking all that information you’ve accumulated and applying it, by taking action. It’s your time and you can do it. No more excuses – just small steps that lead to bigger ones. You deserve it and you’re worth it.
